We work exclusively with enterprise-grade, commercial technology partners who act strictly as temporary data processors and are legally bound by their commercial agreements not to retain or repurpose your data in any form.

2. Information We Collect

To provide our service, we collect the following:

• Account & Billing Data: Your name, email address, subscription tier, and credit usage history.
• Document Data: The text of the resumes, cover letters, and job descriptions you upload or process through the platform.
• Security & Usage Data: We collect basic analytics and temporarily process small text snippets from your inputs strictly to monitor system integrity, prevent fraud, and block abuse.

3. Local Storage & Functional Cookies

We do not use cross-site tracking cookies or advertising pixels. Our application uses standard browser local storage and technically necessary cookies strictly to maintain your active session, secure your authentication, and save your work in progress during page navigation.

4. Third-Party Data Processors

We use industry-leading, highly secure third-party services to run our infrastructure. We do not sell your data. We only share necessary data with these vendors to operate the platform:

• Authentication: Handled securely by our authentication provider. We never store your passwords.
• Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely by our Merchant of Record. We never see, collect, or store your card details.

5. Data Residency & International Transfers

Our primary database and user profile storage infrastructure is located within the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany).

Because we serve a global community, some processing operations may require data to interact with servers outside of your region. We ensure your data remains protected by partnering exclusively with enterprise sub-processors that comply with international data protection frameworks, including the execution of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

6. Your Data Rights & Account Deletion

You own your career data. You have the right to access, export, or permanently delete your information from our systems at any time.

To request deletion, contact us at support@cvglide.com. Upon request, we will execute a permanent, full deletion of your profile, all uploaded documents, and application history from our databases. We do not maintain shadow profiles or hidden backups of deleted user accounts.
